Kurzfassung
Eine kleine Cephalopoden-Fauna mit Mimosphinctes (Goniatitida) im Massiv von Taga, Prov. Gerona (NE-Spanien), beweist das Vorhandensein von herzynischem Unterdevon in den Ost-Pyrenäen. Es bestehen enge faunistische Beziehungen zum Kantabrischen und Keltiberischen Gebirge, aber auch zu anderen europäischen, afrikanischen und asiatischen Herzyn-Vorkommen.
Abstract
A small cephalopod fauna with Mimosphinctes (Goniatitida) from the Taga Massif (Prov. Gerona, NE Spain) has been found in Lower Devonian limestones of the Hercynian facies. Close relations existed not only to the equivalent faunas of the Cantabrian and Celtiberian Mountains, but also to other faunas of Hercynian aspect in Europe, North Africa and Asia.
Abstract
Se describe una pequeña fauna de Cefalópodos con Mimosphinctes (Goniatitida) hallada en las calizas hercínicas del Devónico inferior del Macizo del Taga (Prov. Gerona, NE de España). Muestra gran afinidad no sólo con las faunas equivalentes de las Cordilleras Cantábrica y Celtibérica sino también con otras faunas hercínicas de Europa, Nordáfrica y Asia.
