Kurzfassung
Aufgrund neuer Überlegungen zum Verhältnis von Erymiden, Nephropiden und Flußkrebsen und nach einer Revision fossilen Materials wird hier die Familie Protastacidae n. fam. konstituiert. Sie enthält die beiden Gattungen Pseudastacus Oppel und Protastacus n. g. aus Jura und Kreide von Mittel-Europa. Die Protastaciden gehören in den Übergangsbereich zwischen Erymiden und Flußkrebsen; sie lassen sich keinesfalls den Nephropiden zuordnen. Die Stellung von Palaeophoberus Glaessner und Chilenophoberus Chong & Förster innerhalb der Astacidea wird diskutiert.
Abstract
A reappraisal of the relationships of Erymidae, Nephropidae and crayfishes and a revision of fossil material leads to the proposal of Protastacidae n. fam. The new family contains Pseudastacus Oppel and Protastacus n. g. from the Jurassic and Cretaceous of Central Europe. They represent a transitional grade between Erymidae and crayfishes. They cannot be placed into the Nephropoidea. The position of Palaeophoberus Glaessner and Chilenophoberus Chong & Förster within the Astacidea is discussed.
