Mrhiliceras n.g. (Cretaceous Ammonoidea) a new Cenomanian mantelliceratine

Abstract
Examination of the type material of Mammites lapparenti Pervinquière, 1907 from the Cenomanian of central Tunisia and the Lower Cenomanian Metoicoceras swalloviforme Collignon, 1964, M. besairiei Collignon, 1964, M. sakarahense Collignon, 1964 and M. fasciculatum Collignon, 1964 from the Lower Cenomanian of Madagascar shows all these species to be but one variable species that is a homoemorph of juvenile Mammites of the Turonian and of Metoicoceras of the Upper Cenomanian. It is referred to the Mantelliceratinae and described as Mrhiliceras n. g., with M. lapparenti as type species and occurrences in Israel, Zululand, southern India, England and France are noted.
Kurzfassung
Die Untersuchung des Typus-Materials von Mammites lapparenti Pervinquière 1907 aus dem Cenoman von Zentral-Tunesien und der Arten Metoicoceras swalloviforme Collignon 1964, M. besairiei Collignon, 1964, M. sakarahense Collignon 1964 und M. fasciculatum Collignon 1964 ergab, daß sie alle zu einer variablen Art gehören. Diese ist homöomorph mit juvenilen Mammites des Turon und mit Metoioceras aus dem Ober-Cenoman. Die Art wird als Mrhiliceras n. g. mit M. lapparenti als Generotyp zu den Mantelliceratinae gestellt. Sie ist bekannt aus Israel, Zululand, Süd-Indien, England und Frankreich.
