Abstract
The "holasteroid" echinoid Ismidaster Boehm 1927 from the Gulf of Ismid, Turkey, is confirmed as a junior synonym of the spatangoid Isaster Desor 1858, whose geographical distribution extends from south-east France to the Transcaspian region of the Soviet Union.
Kurzfassung
Der angebliche holasteroide Ismidaster Boehm 1927 wird als Synonym der Spatangiden-Gattung Isaster erkannt, deren Verbreitung sich infolgedessen von Südost-Frankreich bis in das Gebiet transkaspische Region der UdSSR erweitert.
