Abstract
The tectonic origin for some enterolitic structures is suggested. The principal mechanism of deformation of thin anhydrite layers in folded areas is cleavage folding i.e. shear folding ocurring on axial-plane cleavage.
Kurzfassung
Die tektonische Ursache einiger enterolitischer Strukturen wird diskutiert. Der hauptsächliche Deformationsmechanismus dünner Anhydrit-Lagen in gefalteten Regionen ist die Faltungsschieferung, d. h. Scherfaltung, die in achsenparalleler Schieferung vorkommt.
