Kurzfassung
Die neue Inkohlungskarte des nördlichen rechtsrheinischen Schiefergebirges beruht auf mehr als 900 Bestimmungen der maximalen Vitrinitreflexion und wurde mittels eines speziellen Isoliniencomputerprogramms (SURFER) hergestellt. Die Karte läßt unterschiedliche Strukturen erkennen. Im westlichen Teil folgen die Isoapostilben den Sattel- und Muldenstrukturen, woraus auf abgeschlossene Inkohlung vor Hebung und Faltung der Schichten zu schließen ist. Im östlichen Kartenteil überlagern sich tektonisch gesteuerte Temperatureffekte mit Nachinkohlung, was zu einem unruhigen Verlauf der Isoapostilben führt. Besonders deutlich wird die Nachinkohlung im Kartenbild im Bereich von Warsteiner Sattel und Kellerwald sichtbar. Den Ostrand des Rheinischen Schiefergebirges kennzeichnen die parallel dazu eng geschart verlaufenden Linien gleicher Reflexion.
Abstract
The new coalification map of the northern part of the Rheinisches Schiefergebirge, east of the river Rhein, is based on more than 900 reflectance measurements. This map was constructed using a special isoline computer programme (SURFER). The map shows different structures. Within the western part the isolines of reflectance are following the syncline and anticline structures. This points to the end of coalification before uplift and folding of the sediments. Within the eastern part of the map the influences of coalification by subsidence and post-tectonic coalification are overlapping. Therefore the isolines of reflectance are irregular. The influence of postorogenic coalification on the picture of the isolines becomes very clear in the region of the Warstein Anticline (north) and the Kellerwald (east). The eastern end of the Rheinisches Schiefergebirge is characterized by the parallel run of isolines of reflectance.
