Kurzfassung
Unter allen bisher bekannten paläozoischen Pflanzen wird das Merkmal einer fakultativen Nodosität einzelner Achsen nur in einem einzigen Fall vorgefunden. Es tritt auf bei sterilen Sprossen von Rellimia hostinensis (Barrande) aus dem Devon Böhmens. Eine änliche, jedoch vollkommenere und obligatorische Nodosität wurde vorher bei der kretazischen Stachyura spicata Vel. & Vin. aus Böhmen festgestellt.
Abstract
Among all Paleozoic plants so far known, the character of facultative nodosity of individual axes may be found in one instance only, namely sterile fronds of Rellimia hostinensis (Barrande) from the Devonian period of Bohemia. A similar, however more perfect and obligatory nodosity has been described formerly to occur in Stachyura spicata Vel. & Vin. from the Cretaceous period of Bohemia.
