Abstract

Crystal structural analyses of the synthetic sulfides in the Cu-Bi-S ternary system are of great interest in recent times. It was in 1938 that Schenk, Hoffmann, Knepper & Vogler found out the existence of CuBi3S5 at 510° C, during the course of their investigation of the system Cu2S-Bi2S3.
