Abstract
Projection of the compositions of the common minerals of quartzbearing calc-silicate rocks onto the Al2O3-FeO-MgO and the CaO-FeO-MgO faces of the CaO-Al2O3-FeO-MgO tetrahedron from the CaO and the CaAl2O4 points respectively makes it possible to analyse graphically the phase relations of these rocks. An example of AFM tie-line relations between coexistent garnets and diopsidic clinopyroxenes from the wollastonite-bearing calc-granulites of the Eastern Ghats is given.
