Abstract
Thielavia setosa Dade, isolated from rabbit dung is described and compared with its original isolates. According to Booth (1961) Thielavia setosa Dade, has not been found since Dade (1938) first described it from cacao beans, which were being incubated in a damp atmosphere, in a petri dish. The collection of cacao beans in question, was made in Gold Coast. The author isolated T. setosa from rabbit dung pellets, collected in Germany. This isolate is interesting, in the sense that species of Thielavia seldom have been reported to occur on dung.
