Kurzfassung
In einer Schöpfprobe vom 19. III. 1968 aus dem Pointgraben-Teich nächst Kirchberg a. Walde, n. ö. Waldviertel (Wawrik 1966), wurde sexuelle Reproduktion bei Cryptomonas sp. beobachtet. Die Art war C. obovata Skuja 1939, ähnlich, doch mit den Maßen 18 x 10 mµ kleiner als diese. Kennzeichnung des Teiches: a) morphologische Daten - Straßen/Wiesenteich, Seehöhe 580 m, Areal 1 ha, maximale Tiefe am Mönch 1,5 m, durchschnittliche Tiefe 0,8m. b) physiologische Daten - t°C 2,0° - 3,8°, pH 6,7 - 7,1 SBV 0,4 - 1,0 mval/l, El18° 122-240, Bikarbonatanteil 27-34%. Der seit der Abfischung im November 1967 trocken gelegene Teich füllte sich gegen Jahresende langsam mit Schmelzwasser (Nährstoffanreicherung!). Mitte Januar war er maximal 80 cm tief. Unter 15 cm Eis betrug die O2-Sättigung rund 70%. Bei geringer Schneeauflage bestand gute autotrophe Produktion. Bereits anfangs März war der Teich vollgelaufen. Unter dem Eis, in 0 m, betrug die O2-Übersättigung 109% über Grund 47%. In denselben Schichten lebten 9.000 bzw 3.500 Phytoplankter im ml: Mallomonas akrokomos Ruttner cc, Gymnodinium pascheri (Sucht) Schiller c, Chlamydomonas rigensis Skuja +, untergeordnet mehrere Cryptomonasarten.
Abstract
In a sample taken on March 19, 1968, from the Pointgraben pond near Kirchberg a. Walde, northeast of Waldviertel (Wawrik 1966), sexual reproduction was observed in Cryptomonas sp. The species was similar to C. obovata Skuja 1939, but smaller, measuring 18 x 10 mµ. Characteristics of the pond: a) morphological data - road/meadow pond, altitude 580 m, area 1 ha, maximum depth at the monk 1.5 m, average depth 0.8 m.; b) Physiological data - t°C 2.0° - 3.8°, pH 6.7 - 7.1 SBV 0.4 - 1.0 mval/1, El 18° 122-240, bicarbonate content 27-34%. The pond, which had been dry since fishing in November 1967, slowly filled up with meltwater towards the end of the year (nutrient enrichment!). By mid-January, it was a maximum of 80 cm deep. Under 15 cm of ice, the O2 saturation was around 70%. With little snow cover, there was good autotrophic production. By the beginning of March, the pond was already full. Under the ice, at 0 m, the O2 supersaturation was 109% above the base level of 47%. In the same layers lived 9,000 and 3,500 phytoplankton per ml: Mallomonas akrokomos Ruttner cc, Gymnodinium pascheri (Sucht) Schiller c, Chlamydomonas rigensis Skuja +, and several Cryptomonas species in smaller numbers.
