Abstract

Lignicolous marine Ascomycetes and Fungi Imperfect from Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) submerged in Galway Bay are reported and represent the first records of such fungi from Ireland. Salinity, temperature and oxygen values are recorded for each collection site. The fungal biota includes Lulworthia, Ceriosporopsis, Dendryphiella and Zalerion species.
