Abstract

Thirty-two zoosporic fungi were isolated from soil samples collected in various parts of Africa. Among these Rhizophydium aphanomycis, Karlingia aurantiaca and Catenophlyctis variabilis var. olduvaiensis are new. The remaining species are assigned to known families, genera, and species.
