Abstract

In the course of a revision of the genus Montia (Portulacaceae) based on herbarium material from different places the parasitic fungus Tolyposporium montiae (Rostr.) Rostr. was detected from Central-Europe for the first time. Tolyposporium montiae is now known in Europe outside the northwestern countries from some localities in Germany (DDR and BRD), Poland and Czechoslovakia (Bohemia).
