Abstract

Anungitea globosa sp. nov., is illustrated, described and compared with five existing species. Chaetendophragmiopsis gen. nov. is segregated from Chaetendophragmia by conidial morphology and ontogeny, and accommodates C. pulchra sp. nov. and C. unisetulata (Matsushima) comb. nov. (syn. Chaetendophragmia unisetulata Matsushima). Chaetendophragmia is revised to comprise four species, including C. africana (Pirozynski) comb. nov. (syn. C. triangularia var. africana Pirozynski) and C. ellisii (Pirozynski) comb. nov. (syn. Sporidesmium ellisii Pirozynski). Eriomycopsis aristata, Selenosporella verticillata and Spadicoides curvularioides spp. nov. are described, illustrated and compared with existing species in the respective genera.
