Abstract

Twelve species of Cyanophyceae were isolated from the soils of Karachi and Halejee Lake. This includes 4 species of Anabaina, 1 species of Nostoc, 4 species of Oscillatoria, 1 species of Phormidium, and 2 species of Lyngbya.
