Abstract

Eight coprophilous habitats collected from various parts of Andhra Pradesh, India, during the years 1977-78 were surveyed for their mycoflora. Altogether twenty-four fungi have appeared in succession during 3-40 days of incubation period. Initially phycomycetous fungi have appeared, followed by Ascomycetes, Fungi Imperfecti and Basidiomycetes. Some fungi have been reported for the first time on certain dung habitats.
