Abstract
In view of preparing a Flora of the Seaweeds from Kenya, material is collected yearly by the authors since 1985. Twelve species of Caulerpa have been collected so far, some including several varieties: C. brachypus, C. cupressoides, C. elongala, C. jasligiala, C. lentilifera, C. mexicana, C. racemosa (with several var.), C. scalpelliformis, C. serrulata, C. sertularioides, C. taxifolia, C. verticillata. An identification key is provided, the different species are described and illustrated (except C. lentillifera and C. racemosa); ecological and biogeographical data are added.
