Abstract

Prataprajella, a new genus of the family Meliolaceae, is described and illustrated with P. turpiniicola (Hosagoudar) comb. nov. (Asteridiella turpiniicola Hosagoudar as type species). Prataprajella turpiniae (Yamam.) comb. nov., based on Irenina turpiniae Yamam., is recognized as a second species in the genus.
