Abstract
A detailed description and illustrations of the previously described species Phascum galilaeum Herrnstadt & Heyn are presented. The species is compared with another new Phascum from the western Mediterranean — Ph. longipes Guerra, Martinez & Ros. Both are considered as two additional connecting links between the genera Phascum and Pottia.
