Abstract

Conidia traps of the hour-glass type develop freely on almost 100% of conidia of three species of Nematoctonus, N. concurrens, N. leiosporus and N. robustus when suspensions of conidia are pipetted onto plates of Distilled Water Agar poured several days earlier. The traps develop at the tips of bent germ-tubes growing away from the surface of the agar.
