Abstract
The bryophyte vegetation of the Alicante Province (SE Spain) has been studied according to the Braun-Blanquet (1964) method. Twenty-four communities have been recognized, of which 2 are epiphytic (class Frullanio-Leucodontetea sciuroidis Mohan 1978 emend. Marstaller 1985), 6 are saxicolous (classes Grimmietea anodontis Hadač & Vondráček in Ježek & Vondráček 1962, Ctenidietea mollusci Hübschmann ex Grgic 1980 and Neckeretea complanatae Marstaller 1986), 12 terricolous (class Barbuletea unguiculatae Mohan 1978) and 4 aquatic (classes Montio-Cardaminetea Braun-Blanquet & Tüxen 1943 and Platyhypnidio-Fontinalietea antipyreticae Philippi 1956). Two associations have been described as new: the Selaginello denticulatae-Timmielletum barbuloidis ass. nova, which grows on scree, slightly humiferous and humid soils, which are sometimes rather acidic, and the Pottio pallidae-Riccietum crustatae ass. nova, of saline soils with clayey texture in clearings of halophytic cormophytic vegetation. Studies of the dynamics of the communities were undertaken.
Abstract
Se ha estudiado la flora briofitica de la provincia de Alicante (SE Spain) según el método de Braun-Blanquet (1964). Se han reconocido veinticuatro comunidades, de las cuales 2 son epífitas (clase Frullanio-Leucodontetea sciuroidis Mohán 1978 emend. Marstaller 1985), 6 son saxícolas (clases Grimmietea anodontis Hadač & Vondráček in Ježek & Vondráček 1962, Ctenidietea mollusci Hübschmann ex Grgic 1980 y Neckeretea complanatae Marstaller 1986), 12 son terrícolas (clase Barbuletea unguiculatae Mohán 1978) y 4 acuáticas (clases Montio-Cardaminetea Braun-Blanquet & Tüxen 1943 y Platyhypnidio-Fontinalietea antipyreticae Philippi 1956). Dos asociaciones son descritas como nuevas: Selaginello denticulatae-Timmielletum barbuloidis ass. nova., de taludes y suelos húmedos ligeramente humíferos, a veces un poco ácidos y Pottio pallidae-Riccietum crustatae ass. nova, de suelos salinos de textura arcillosa en claros de vegetación cormofítica halófita. Se realizaron también estudios sobre la dinámica de las comunidades.
