Abstract

Acromastigum is divided into three subgenera (Acromastigum, Inaequilaterae, Subcomplicatae) and Triandrophyllopsis is treated as a section of subg. Acromastigum. Subg. Subcomplicatae is discussed; three species are assigned to it, A. filum (Steph.) Evs., A. herzogii Grolle and A. rigidum Schust. A key to these is given and A. rigidum sp. n. is described. It differs from other taxa of subg. Subcomplicatae and from all others in the genus, in having the stem with a 3-seriate medulla.
