Abstract
Ninety species of myxomycetes are reported from Alaska. The majority of these records are the result of field and moist chamber collections made in the central and western portions of the state during the period of 1989 to 1995. Additional information on the source of the record and the substratum upon which fruiting occurred is provided for each species reported from Alaska for the first time. The myxoflora of Alaska is compared to that of other high-latitude areas of the northern hemisphere.
