Abstract

The genus Leucolejeunea A. Evans (Lejeuneaceae) in China is reviewed. Three species, L. paroica N. Kitag., L. turgida (Mitt.) Verd. and L. xanthocarpa (Lehm. & Lindenb.) A. Evans are known in China. Leucolejeunea turgida is newly recorded for mainland China. Some variation in Chinese plants of the three species is discussed. Illustrations of the three species and a distribution map of L. turgida are also presented.
