Abstract
It is shown that Dinobryon sociale var. americanum produces stomatocyst 79 Duff & Smol 1991. Dinobryon sociale var. americanum and its cyst are described using light microscope and scanning electron microscope observations. A comparison is made with the stomatocyst of D. sociale var. stipitatum, which appears to produce identical stomatocysts.
