Abstract

Fifteen exsiccates of Nidulariaceae deposited in the Herbarium URM were analyzed. All specimens correspond to Cyathus and nine species were identified: C. intermedius, C. julietae, C. limbatus, C. montagnei, C. pallidus, C. poeppigii, C. pygmaeus, C. striatus and C. triplex. These are the first records of the genus from Northern Brazil. C. intermedius and C. pygmaeus are recorded for the first time in Brazil and C. julietae is the first record in South America. Descriptions, taxonomic remarks and line drawings of the analyzed material are presented, including a key to the species identified.
