Abstract
Bromo-Oryzopsion includes xerophytic moderately nitrophilous communities of the Mediterranean Region, within therophytes are accompanied by dwarf shrubs and chamephytic climbing grasses. Four associations are mentioned: Inulo-Oryzopsietum miliaceae (from Liguria to Valencia Land), Oryzopsio-Daucetum maximi (Balearic Islands), Oryzopsio-Ballotetum hirsutae (Valencia Land and Murcia), Inuletum revolutae (South Portugal).
