Abstract
Association for the Conservation Geological Heritage of Turkey (JEMİRKO) were determined seven potential geoparks areas for Turkey. These are Karapınar Geopark, Mut Geopark, Salt Lake Geopark, Narman Red Happiness Valley Geopark, Kula Volcanic Geopark, Cappadoccia Geopark, Denizli Travertine Geopark and Nemrut Volcano and Lake Van Geoparks (http://www.turkjeopark.org) The Ulubey Canyon and the surroundings which are in the Uşak province in Western Turkey, has very rare properties with respect to its geology, geomorphology, scientific and cultural points of views.
