Abstract
D. Trombotto's paper claims numerous remarks. It deals with a small area, ignoring authors who worked there or nearby. The geomorphological frame needs to be dealt with more precisely. No proper description of a representative exposure is given, no precise indication of location, depth, number of samples, no statistically valuable analyses to support arguments. There is more speculation than demonstration. Two sections he describes being the same as published by CORTE & BELTRA-MONE (1984), VOGT (1991), VOGT & DEL VALLE (1994), comparison and discussion will be easy.
