Abstract
This homework of the 18 year old pupil Willi Hennig reveals that he, even in those early days had already fixed the aim of his work, and essential parts of his methodological approach. In addition, it exemplifies his unspecialized universal interest in many fields of zoology. It reads like a program whose immense scope he was aware of. Indeed, in all his life time, he was eager to realize this program to a maximal extent, exerting himself without pause in an extreme manner, even under the most unfavourable conditions.
