Abstract

The position of the drill site Konzen in a region of strong rock deformation is clearly recognizable at the drill core from numerous microtectonic phenomena. Tectonic measurements at the drill core agree very well with nearby situated surface outcrops. Microscopic observations show clearly two different phases of tectonic deformation. X-ray texture diagrams give good correlations to regional fabric contexts.
