Abstract
The litho- and biostratigraphy of the Sissach Member of the Passwang Formation in the area around Moutier (Faltenjura, NW Switzerland) are described. Several ammonite taxa from the Upper Aalenian and Lower Bajocian are recorded for the first time from NW Switzerland, and one new species, Emileites christophi, is introduced.
