Abstract
Budaiceras hyatti (Shattuck, 1903) from the upper Lower Cenomanian Mantelliceras dixoni Zone of Haute Normandie, France is the first record of the genus and species outside Texas and northern Mexico, and the first evidence for the age of the Budaiceras hyatti Zone in terms of the European sequence.

Das Vorkommen von Budaiceras hyatti in der Normandie, das erste außerhalb von Texas und Nord-Mexico, erlaubt die Zone dieses untercenomanen Ammoniten mit der europäischen Zonengliederung zu korrelieren.
