Abstract
A new trigonotarbid arachnid from the Upper Carboniferous (Stephanian B) is referred to Aphantomartus areolatus Pocock, 1911. Another poorly preserved specimen from this locality is referred to Trigonotarbus sp. A previously unrecognised cuticle ornament of tiny tubercles is described on the dorsal surface of Aphantomartus areolatus.
Kurzfassung
Ein neuer Trigonotarbide (Arachnida) aus dem Oberkarbon (Stephanium B) wird Aphantomartus areolatus Pocock, 1911 zugerechnet, ein anderes, schlecht erhaltenes Exemplar als Trigonotarbus sp. bestimmt. Ein cuticulares Ornament in Form winziger Tuberkel auf der Rückenfläche von Aphantomartus areolatus wird erstmals beschrieben.
