Abstract
Two new ostracode species from the Brazilian equatorial shelf are described: Keijcyoidea amazonica and Hulingsina toreuma. A brief discussion on the validity of the genera Keijcyoidea Malz and Hulingsina Puri is presented. Finally, the origin and the geographical and stratigraphical distributions of both genera are discussed.
Kurzfassung
Vom brasilianisch-äquatorialen Schelf werden zwei neue Ostrakodenarten beschrieben: Keijcyoidea amazonica und Hulingsina toreuma. Die Gültigkeit der Gattungen Keijcyoidea Malz und Hulingsina Puri wird kurz erörtert. Außerdem wird die Enstehung und die geographische und stratigraphische Verbreitung beider Gattungen diskutiert.
