Abstract

The foraminiferal fauna of the Arnager Greensand (Bornholm, Denmark) has been investigated, and attention is drawn to a rich planktonic fauna, dominated by Rotalipora reicheli Mornod. The stratigraphic value of this fauna is discussed, and its distribution in N. W. Europe attributed to the prevailing palaeo-oceanographic conditions.
