New and noteworthy liverwort records for Türkiye and South-West Asia

Abstract
The liverwort taxa Cephaloziella elegans and Mesoptychia gillmanii are reported for the first time from Türkiye and Southwest Asia, based on a bryological field trip to the Karçal Mountains in the Caucasian region (Artvin). Additionally, Lophoziopsis excisa is recorded for the second time in Türkiye, with the newly discovered locality extending the known national distributions of this taxon. Descriptions, illustrations, data on world distribution and ecology, as well as comparisons with morphologically similar species, are provided.
