Abstract
The apothecial margin of Diploschistes bisporus is built of degenerating and pigmented hymenial elements. A true excipulum, as it is found in Diploschistes s.str., is lacking. A new genus Ingvariella Guderley & Lumbsch, is described to accomodate this taxon and a new variety with four spores per ascus, var. multispora Guderley & Lumbsch, is described from South Africa.
Kurzfassung
Die Apothecienberandung wird bei Diploschistes bisporus durch degenerierende und gebräunte hymeniale Elemente gebildet. Ein echtes Excipulum, wie es bei Diploschistes s.str. vorkommt, fehlt. Eine neue Gattung Ingvariella Guderley & Lumbsch wird für diese Art beschrieben und eine neue Varietät mit vier Sporen im Ascus, var. multispora Guderley & Lumbsch, wird aus Südafrika beschrieben.
