Abstract
Collections of Wynnea from China, India, and Japan were examined. The distinctions between W. gigantea and W. macrotis and between W. americana and W. macrotis are outlined. The taxonomic positions of two unnamed species are discussed. Wynnea macrospora seems common in Asia, while all reports of W. americana from Asia are misidentifications. Five species are currently found in Asia. A key to the known species of the genus is provided.
