Abstract

Syntrichia montana var. antalyae (Pottiaceae, Bryophyta) is described as a new taxon from Turkiye. A first record of Syntrichia subintermedia var. subintermedia is given for Georgia (north of the Black Sea). Some additions and corrections are made to “The genus Syntrichia Brid. (Pottiaceae, Bryophyta) in the Holarctic with special consideration of North America”, including a note on Syntrichia lithophila.
