Abstract
The homonym Marginaster Haude 1995, of a Lower Devonian ophiuroid from Argentina (Bodenbender collection at Göttingen), is replaced by a new name, Marginura. Significant similarity of this encrinasterid with another one, the Ordovician Euzonosoma Spencer, should advocate redefinition of a formerly used taxon name to contain the two genera as a subfamily, Euzonosomatinae Spencer 1930.
