Beginning with Volume 23, 2014, Meteorol. Z. (Contrib. Atm. Sci.) is a Full Open Access Journal open to original manuscripts in the English language from all fields of atmospheric sciences, covering meteorology and climatology, including the interaction of the lower atmosphere with the oceans, the land surfaces, and the middle and upper atmosphere.
Meteorol. Z. (Contrib. Atm. Sci.), journal of meteorology and athmospheric physics is published bimonthly, 6 issues (= 1 volume) year, totalling approximately. 650 pages.
Meteorol. Z. (Contrib. Atm. Sci.) strictly publishes original papers under the auspices of its editors and editorial board. All papers published in Meteorologische Zeitschrift (Contributions to Atmospheric Sciences) are subject to peer review.
