Abstract
Two letters of Vincenz Strouhal in Prague to Julius von Hann in Vienna are published here for the first time. The content refers to the nomination of Stanislav Hanzlik as an Associate Professor of Meteorology and Climatology at the University of Prague. The letters shed light on the personalities of three well-known natural scientists (Strouhal, Hann, and Hanzlik).
Kurzfassung
Zwei Briefe von Vincenz Strouhal in Prag an Julius von Hann in Wien werden hier zum ersten Mal veröffentlicht. Der Inhalt bezieht sich auf die Nominierung von Stanislav Hanzlik als Extraordinarius für Meteorologie und Klimatologie an der Universität Prag. Die Briefe beleuchten die Persönlichkeiten von drei bekannten Naturwissenschaftlern (Strouhal, Hann und Hanzlik).
