Abstract
It is reported about the advancements in the field of hygrometry that have been reached in the course of the past few decades, both with regard to thermodynamics and to measurement techniques. This is systematically done with regard to the achievable accuracy, starting from the primary standard up to the working instrument for operational measuring. Special emphasis is laid upon the requirements in the field of meteorology.
Kurzfassung
Es wird über die Fortschritte auf dem Gebiet der Hygrometrie berichtet, die in den letztenJahrzehnten erreicht worden sind, und zwar sowohl in bezug auf die Thermodynamik als auch auf die Meßtechnik. Es wird systematisch nach der erreichbaren Genauigkeit vorgegangen, angefangen beim Primärstandard bis hin zum Routinemeßinstrument. Dabei werden hauptsächlich die Belange der Meteorologie berücksichtigt.
