Abstract
The name Corniculina Klishevich 1967, type-genus of Corniculinidae G. Alberti 1985, is a junior homonym of Corniculina v. Münster 1839 and according to ICZN art.39,56 invalid. The second genus Procorniculina placed by the author originally in the family Corniculinidae is therefore proposed as typegenus of the family Procorniculinidae fam. n. (= Corniculinidae G. Alberti 1985). The new family includes also Corniculina Klishevich 1967 which must be renamed. - I thank Doz. Dr. R. Schallreuter, Hamburg, for calling my attention to the fact that Corniculina Klishevich was preoccupied.
