Notes on Cantharelloid Fungi

Abstract
New taxa. - Cantharellus carneoflavus - Borneo, C. diminutivus - Malaya, Gloeocantharellus echinosporus - S. E. Asia, Solomon Isl., Gomphus brasiliensis - Brazil, G. cavipes - Trinidad W. L, G. grandis - Borneo, G. megasporus - West Pakistan. New combinations. - Gloeocantharellus corneri (Singer), Gl. lateritius (Petch), Gl. okapaensis (Corner),Gomphus subclavaeformis(Berk.). New records. - Cantharellus cuticulatus - Malaya, C. ianthinus - Borneo, C. sordidus - Japan, C. subcibarius - New Guinea, Gloeocantharellus okapaensis - Solomon Isl., Gomphus retisporus - Solomon Isl., Nyctalis parasitica - Borneo, Pseudocraterellus sinuosus - Surinam. These notes arise mostly from collections made during the Royal Society expeditions to North Borneo (1964) and the Solomon Islands (1965), from recent collections made in Brazil, and from collections made by Professor A. L. Weiden in the West Indies. I have also been lead to reconsider the genus Gloeocantharellus.
