Abstract
The synonymy of Coma circularis (Cke & Massee) Nag Raj & Kendrick is expanded to include Gloeosporiella eucalypti Hansf., and the fungus is compared with Gloeosporiella rosicola Cavara. Two nomenclatural changes are proposed - Coniothyrium ahmadii nom. nov. (syn. C. eucalypti Ahmad, non Thürn., nec G. Fragoso), and Microsphaeropsis globulosa (Camara) comb. nov. (syn. Coniothyrium globulosum Camara). Three new species are described and illustrated from Eucalyptus spp. - Leptomelanconium australiense, Microsphaeropsis conielloides and M. pseudaspera.
