Abstract
A rather long time has elapsed since the editing of the third edition of my “Agaricales in modern Taxonomy’’ (Cramer, Lehre 1975). Since 1972 some important papers have appeared which contain new generic and even family names referring to Agaricales. Obviously, such taxa will be looked for in the new edition, and this is the reason why they are enumerated and discussed below in alphabetical order.
