Abstract
The genera Dictyonema, Dichonema, Gyrolophium, Cora, Corella, Rhipidonema, Laudatea and Wainiocora with over 40 species described so far are asserted to constitute a single genus with not more than 5 species. The fungal components of these species belong to the family Corticiaceae; obviously these 5 lichen species have been made up by only 2 fungal species.
